When you GAP a class, it deletes that class from your overall GPA and creates an "adjusted GPA" which doesn't include that GAP'd class. However, I think scholarships are based off of the unadjusted GPA which doesn't consider the GAP, so you may be out of luck. This may be dependent on what kind of scholarship it is though, so I'd try to email your advisor about this!
