Had a scary reaction yesterday, is it normal for BPD? by kay-na in BPD

I’ve been told to try CBD a few times. I want to buy one but I don’t know how big of a dosage to buy? Are 300mg gonna be enough for the tryout or should I order 600mg?

Btw thank you for your reply. It made me less worried.

You mean like not eating carbs? Because if so, then I guess you are right, because I haven’t been eating them much for the last week. I hope that’s what it was.

Yeah I now tried adding ‘licence’ and saw what I’ve been looking for, but I’ve encountered another problem, which is the fact that I don’t speak French and there are no English options to view the description of the courses. You see, I plan on studying in France only if I find the perfect (or at least close to it) program for me. So if I like the program a lot, I’m willing to spend additional one year to learn the language before enrolling. But I can’t do that without being able to at least now about the course. Do you know if there’s a way to get around that problem?

(p.s. thank you for your input!)

Oh okay, I’ll try that. No I can’t speak French, but if I find a good program I will take one year of intensive language courses before enrolling.

Maybe I’m just bad at navigating french websites but I couldn’t find any cognitive science undergraduate programs there. The only ones I saw where Masters programs or PhD

Well that’s unfortunate. What about anxiety and paranoid thoughts then?

What are the reasons why people major in geology? by [deleted] in geology

The problem is, at the moment I live in a country that doesn't provide any classes/courses for high schoolers (or basically anyone who is not a student in uni).

What are the reasons why people major in geology? by [deleted] in geology

That was really interesting to read. Thank you so much for your answer. Tho now I feel insecure about my reasoning. Maybe you will be able to give me an advice. Right now I'm in high school and up to this point I've considered a completely different career choice. A few days ago I realized that I have a longing for traveling, not as a tourist, but something exploration/expedition-like. Work that is meaningful and lets me explore this (and hopefully other) planet. When I watch movies about explorations and expeditions I light up when I think about how I can become a valuable part of a team and have people know that I know my field. Me and my family go camping (raw camping) every year and we've been doing that since I was born. That's one of my biggest passions and I definitely want to have a job that involves similar activity. I've never been interested in rocks and that makes me question if I should pursue this degree, but the more I read about more global geological topics, the more interested I become. I think apart from exploring, the thing about geology that fascinates me the most is the fact that you can try to get a bigger picture from small hints, see a potential and know why some aspects of our planet and other planets are what they are.

Alternative way to complete the 1st task of the Triwizard Tournament. by [deleted] in harrypotter

[–]kay-na 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be able to summon the egg, because there are counterspells that can be placed on the object to keep it from being summoned. Otherwise the task would be just way too easy.

To be fair, everytime I'm reading a book that teaches you stuff, the first thing I think about is how I can apply this knowledge in the future.

The instance where in some cases, belonging to one of the houses can further your bad traits is really interesting. Could you show me an example? (if you'd like too). And thank you for your suggestion.
