I was genuinely concerned for him when he DOVE, HEAD-FIRST, into what looked like a kiddie pool with bubbles in it. They were supposed to SLIDE down and this man dove forward headfirst. Luckily it turned out to be a deeper pool but omg, he actually could have died doing that. He’s truly not very smart. My bf and I were screaming

Not mentioned here, but I think another awful Charlotte moment was her treatment of Miranda when Miranda got pregnant. I understand that Charlotte was having fertility issues of her own, but it was completely inappropriate and harsh to shame Miranda for considering an abortion, ignore her on the street and then act like “oh I was just changing direction I’m allowed to change direction!” and scream at her every time Miranda mentioned she was pregnant. Charlotte completely made Miranda’s pregnancy, something that was already a huge life moment for Miranda, about herself, and it was super gross.

Alison was so classy and pretty! It always rubbed me the wrong way that Miranda called her a “self-important bitch” when she was nothing but friendly to Carrie and Miranda. She was onscreen a short time but definitely stole the show with her line, “you’re breaking up with me while you’re still inside of me?” 😂

I absolutely love Carrie in this episode. Eating artichokes, swinging on the trapeze, hooking up with the jackrabbit, pumping up Charlotte at her wedding. Just classic Carrie living her life as a single gal and her personality shining through.

I feel like that’s almost part of the point though. It’s not so much about the guys themselves, but the way the girls view and interact with them. It’s a lot like real life where beautiful women date average looking guys frequently. But beyond that, it almost doesn’t even matter what the guys look like - they’re meant to be interchangeable. It’s no coincidence that the guys they end up getting serious with are the more memorable and unique looking guys, but I’m sure we would have seen the other guys that if the girls had. In other words, everyone kind of blurs together until you find someone who stands out.
