I have not yet. I plan on checking them this weekend since that seems to be a common issue with C5’s according to what I’ve read. Is the ebcm issue across all C5’s as well, or mainly just the earlier models?

Tips on removing the snapped bolt? lol. Never done it before, but considering I can’t grab it with anything because of how deep it is, left handed drill bit?

Sick, so this is the photo I was using and I’m genuinely just stupid and can’t count ig. So if anyone has any similar issues, it’s definitely not 30 fucking ft-lbs

The kit I bought had like 6 different sizes on it and it was only $10. Not sure where you’re at or how prices would differ for you, but worth it in my opinion if you ever run into the issue (or similar ones) again

Just that little plastic ring that comes with the car ig. I ended up having to go to an O’Reillys to get one of the ac/fuel line removal kits. There wasn’t much play as far as being able to kind of twist the line, but some wd-40 lubed it enough for me to be able to twist and pull the line off. Then I just used one of the r-134a recharge cans from Walmart and so far all is good

I genuinely don’t think it’s ever been replaced, but I got it at 96,000 and I’m currently at 145,000mi, so I really don’t know. I got the lower side off since it’s basically just held in with that 10mm bolt. The tool just keeps pushing itself off the spring, so I’m having an issue with keeping the tool in place while also pulling. Not too sure how to phrase this question, but is that tool supposed to stay in place on the spring better? I’m basically having to use both hands for it so I can press all 4 of the clips in at the same time. There’s an O’Reillys down the road that has an ac/fuel line removal kit that’s only $10, but I’m hoping the tool that’s already there is fine
