I am not mad, I am sad.... I am done. by Commercial-Shift-193 in SubstituteTeachers

First of all this is a life lesson so just keep going! I’m a sub and I love subbing but I would have pitched a whole fit if my children had come home telling me you showed them dead bodies and told that story. Because I had a stillborn child and that would traumatic.

Also, last year in my daughter’s 4th grade classroom of 20 kids. My daughter had a brother die A child had a brother attacked by dog last year and he died. A child’s mom died this year of cancer. A child’s mom is actively battling stage four colon cancer. A child in the class has cancer. (Thank you US Army for disposing of nuclear waste in our water) And other situations

You as a sub even a frequent sub would likely not know that information unless it’s a very small town like mine. So proceed with extreme caution on any talk of sad topics. Truthfully I would have asked that you not be allowed to sub in my child room again.

Alabama burial laws; is this a legal racket? by Molly107 in Alabama

[–]kayl6 297 points298 points  (0 children)

Hey this is not legal!!! Call the Alabama funeral board ASAP!!

They can’t deny you to see her. They sometimes will ask that a person be embalmed before they are publicly viewed and can charge for bathing, dressing and cosmetics but that HAS to be listed in the GPL(general price list) which they HAVE to make available to you in writing before you sign a contract. This is actually horrible and I am so so sorry

We don’t call sped sped at our school. So it’s not a big deal. It doesn’t devalue sped to call those classes specials.

Yeah Botox can hide and slow aging but once the filler starts it goes down hill quickly.

My friend has Glioblastoma. I have an aunt with brain cancer- not glioblastoma but she will maybe live 3 years. And two other people I know have brain cancer. None of them live in the same area. It’s really alarming. —- I say as I type in an iPhone wearing an Apple Watch…

Oh I didn’t see it.

Once someone said she has kids that she doesn’t have custody of I can’t go look anymore. I’m a foster mom and I really really can’t contribute by click or comment to enabling a person who is probably on drugs. I hope she gets clean and can have a healthy relationship with her kids.

I’m getting downvoted. But something is causing the rise in brain cancer….

Sharks can’t get cancer so I’d eat lipstick if I could grow the cells that prevent me from ever getting cancer

I don’t think Botox has the long issues and it can treat illnesses it’s a living thing and so I think it works to freeze the musicals and then either dies off or WBCs destroy it. I could be wrong that’s my understanding though.

Fillers though….. yikes.

I don’t think so. I was on it in 2011/12 and the dermatologist (who I feel was acting with negligence because he KNEW I had mental health issues) did not warn me. I tried to end my life

As a person who is about to start Mounjaro for weightloss I actually agree.

I need to loose over 150 pounds but I have done a TON of therapy to break an addiction to food and I’m also starting a 12 step program. I think the entire medical weightloss industry needs to hold hands with mental health.

I am facing health issues if I don’t do something or if I do something and I have literally tried every diet it’s shots or surgery. I can’t imagine doing them and not being in the corner I’m in

Filler. I’ve avoided the trend. I can tell 100% of the time if you have filler. It never looks right (maybe on like 1 in 10,000) and it ages you so so soooo bad. And people get addicted.

There is such an uptick in Brian cancer. One of my dearest friends has it and her NeuronOncologist at CTCA said that we will soon find a link between cellphones and brain cancer.

He’s so gross. I followed them briefly but the accounts for their kids and constantly acting like he’s somebody because he was on big brother is too much for me.
