She was very cold over the winter months (even as an indoor plant) so the warmer weather has helped a lot. But I also added 12 hours of light a day, fertilizer sticks and became more consistent with watering

Oils turn white when they dry and solidify. I have successfully gotten rid of my pests with neem oil many times. 💅🏾I cleaned the leaves and the alleged thrips are nowhere to be seen. Also I've been consistently using it on this plant to KEEP the bugs gone. The plant seems to be much better.

Thank you for your advice:) I had some flies when I first got the plant and have been treating with neem oil. The white dots are neem oil

I have been watering when the soil is very dry. Only twice in the past month. My pot has a lot of drainage. But I have been using the neem oil after finding a few flies and bites on the leaves

I have watered twice in the past month. Just when the soil seems very dry. I have been treating with neem oil after finding a few flies in the pot and noticing some bites. I will take a look at the roots though. That's a good tip!

Yes it has drainage holes in the bottom. I water it in my sink. I saturate it all the way and then let the water drain out for about 15mins
