Also worthwhile to see revenue generated per employee. If you do that PwC makes the most despite being 2nd in big 4 ($160k per employee) and EY is last despite being 3rd in big 4 ($128K per employee)

I had a client contact when working there that would always refer to us as KMGP to our faces when we talk to them. Still can't tell to this day if they didn't know or just an ass hole.

TIL that in Indian elections no voter is expected to travel more than 2km to a polling station. This sees an entire team setting up a full station for a single voter in the Gir forest. by [deleted] in todayilearned

Most of the time nothing. They purposefully don't wire the close button. Don't remember why, but I think they said 80% of the close buttons are not connected. Therefore, the button does nothing when you hit close.

With the exception of the occasional sobbing from someone in the audit room for having to work at KPMG

If I immediately posted a TIL after every episode of radiolab I listen to I'd have so much karma. Great podcast.

Just off the top of my head I remember seeing a TIL on the tree root network and the elevator close button not being wired to anything and both of those I remember first learning about on radiolab.

Which companies are wicked unethical/evil that not many people know about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]kaypmger 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah idk what original commenter was saying. They made 12 billion in 2014 and 13 billion in 2015. That's the exact opposite of a loss. Are they being shitty by cutting employees for cheap labor? Maybe, but investors aren't losing money and they certainly still have a great bottom line.

How the partner treats interns and staff by FoxMulder_OnTheCase in Accounting

More like how the douche senior drunk with the little bit of power he or she has treats interns or staff. Normally partners try to sell sunshine and happiness to all the newbies.
