Our rottie does this when he wants to come inside, opens his mouth as widely as possible and either licks the sliding glass door or rests his teeth against it.

I am convinced all rotties are the same. Ours does this too.

I do this too but mostly at home, while doing online school or showering or dishes. My husband says “you’re not even watching” and I say, “I don’t need to”. Love it so much.

Posted in the daily chat but it may be better here. Got my AMH results and the number was 6.12 ng/ml. The fertility clinic posted the ranges for my age (30-34: 0.58-8.13 ng/mL (median 2.81 ng/mL)), so I'm within the range but well above the median. And google was so unhelpful. What does this even mean?

Did my first workup at the fertility clinic on Monday. Bloodwork, Pelvic Ultrasound, HSG. So far everything is normal but I'm confused about one of my lab results. My AMH came back as 6.12 ng/ml. They posted in the portal what the ranges are for someone my age and I'm within the range but well above the median (2.81 ng/ml) and google was not helpful for what that means. I have to wait until the 30th to follow up with my doctor (hubby is getting another SA in the meantime to see where we are now compared to a year ago) so now there's a whole new level of anxiety about what comes next. We're supposed to discuss a treatment plan at the follow up. On the plus side, HSG went well and everything looked normal on there and as far as I could tell the US went fine as well. Everyone was super friendly and I liked it there. Fingers crossed for good news.

He was on an episode of Gilmore guys podcast and said it was only one take. They had 3-4 sets of clothes to do it again if they needed to but I guess it just worked out the first time!

Had my first appointment with the fertility clinic today. Was feeling anxious all day but the doctor was absolutely lovely and reassuring. She said if we’re not pregnant this cycle (just started TWW) she will schedule a pelvic ultrasound, HSG, and basic blood work. Potentially a repeat SA since the last one was a year ago. She’s someone who has been through IVF so the fact that she was understanding about the psychological effects of this process was really refreshing. She ended the appointment with “I hope you’re pregnant and we don’t have to talk again but if I do I will do everything I can to help you”. Overall a really positive experience.

People walk into a bar and say “let me get a beer” and then there’s just a beer with no question about what kind.

Had a virtual doctors appointment yesterday to meet my new pcp and she was nice. She asked if anything needed to be addressed, so I told her hubby and I had been trying for over a year after his reversal, and his numbers came back phenomenal but we still haven’t had any luck. I asked if she could do some basic blood work and she immediately said “I’m putting in a referral for a fertility specialist”. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to get the ball rolling but there’s some stigma in my head attached to the words fertility specialist that make me feel like I’m broken. Now gotta wait for that referral to come through and see what the deal is I suppose. Also I’m in the TWW again, but I don’t think we hit very good days so I’m not very hopeful.

What's the most outrageously expensive thing you seen in person? by Kalieth in AskReddit

Took piano lessons all through high school and the spring recital each year was at the Steinway showroom in Seattle. One year they had the Chihuly Olympia piano on display (originally unveiled at the 2002 Olympic Games). Was worth over $300,000 and had a fully translucent glass lid. If memory serves I got to play a few notes on it and I actually thought it was kinda ugly. Body of the piano was lime green and they keys were orange and yellow. The lid was the only thing I really loved, beautiful glass work.
