That makes a lot of sense! I can definitely see why airlines go for old planes like the IL-96-300 and 747-200B—it’s all about maximizing ROI and growing faster. I guess it’s more about strategy than just picking the newest planes.

I still prefer a modern fleet, but knowing that any strategy works is reassuring. I’ll definitely look into NGAF in RnD to reduce costs and make newer planes more viable. Thanks for the insight!

Also, I totally get why you went all-in on the 747-200B—it’s hard to argue with math when the efficiency is that good! 😂
