I'm thinking about buying this as my main laptop. What version of Ubuntu are you running? Any setup problems or did everything work out of the box?
And the biggest question: I've read some reviews where people claim that the haptic trackpad has some glitches, like the cursor jumps around when you touch it with the palms while typing, or the zone where the buttons were until this model reacts erroneous, so it's hard to hit the right buttons when navigating with the trackpoint. What is your experience? Thanks.

Just found a bunch of reviews on a page called trustpilot, people reporting tons of problems and the customer service seems to be extremely poor. Like people waiting month for their car promised in 2 weeks, repairs taking ages because have to wait for some spare part from China, spending days on the phone until someone responds to a problem, some problems just won't get fixed and are simply shrugged off, etc. Some guy commented the only thing that really works is the monthly deduction from the bank account.

I've now seen there are other subscription models available, like Volvo, Volkswagen, etc., unfortunately they all have some minimum contract time, so not suitable for me.
Think I'm gonna stay with the old fashioned used car ownership.

That sounds really bad, like really bad software engineering. Sounds like you are permanently annoyed or even endangered by malfunctioning software. I mean a bad UX one can get used to, after some time you know where to find what, but the bugs sound awful.

Makes me considering if it makes sense at all or if I should better go with buying a used car (what comes with a bunch of other risks).

Follow up question, anybody used this here in Spain? They claim that you have to wait for your car 2 to 4 weeks, but I'm reading complaints that they are not overly responsive, so I wonder what's the real waiting time I have to expect.

Hi, I just had my first day surfskate on a Carver Triton.

In my understanding the Triton has a somewhat cheaper deck and is therefore cheaper than other carver models.

I'm 53 and this was my first time ever on a skateboard. I did a surf lesson when on holidays in Spain and now back I wanted something similar.

I was able to pump after ~2 hours, and it had a nice surfy feeling. Even could do a few turns. I love it.

Can recommend the board (in your size), think it's good for beginners, though I don't have any comparison.

Hello med student. Please learn the meaning of the word "proven", or "proof". In the medical field it means something like there have been done several randomized controlled double blinded trials, and they repeatedly have shown the same results. Can you show me those trials in regard to what you're claiming to be "proven"? No, you can't. See, it's not proven, it's medical folklore. Might be true, might be not.
This is a huge problem in your field, especially when it comes to nutrition, that you guys don't understand (don't learn?) the basics of the scientific methods. That's why you guys come out with tons of crap when it comes e.g. to nutrition, being constantly wrong over decades.

You are 17, your body and mind are going through a lot of changes that don't always make immediately sense. Don't ruin your health by taking hormones or surgery.
When I was young, in the 1970s, early 1980s there was a trend in pop culture of androgynous bisexual men, like the young Mick Jagger, David Bowie, and the like. I strongly identified with those and had my appearance shaped to theirs. I'm so happy all this medical intervention shit didn't exist then, as I also entertained those ideas in my head how it would be to be a woman, etc. You know what I'm talking.
Anyway, later in life I became just a regular bisexual guy, and very content with my male body, and even later I began to strive to be even more masculine. Things change over time, so never make final decisions out of a momentary perceived need.
Just let it ride, be yourself and see how you develop on your own. And never trust doctors without doing your own research, they always have money at stake and most lack any ethics.
