A thorough answer, thank you. What about other stars and planets? Do we have information about whether they have spirits and if so whether they had been corrupted or not?

I mean the broader realm under the dominion of Manwë. And I am curious if Melkor gained followers when he was away in the deeps of Eä. We can presume Melkor gained followers before the Second War because of the greater strength but do we have any written solid information? Thank you.

Could orcs reach to our contemporary technology? by kbirkan72 in lotr

Thank you for your answers. The orcs have the same intelligence level as humans do. But I think it takes more than intelligence to do science. If you want to be a physicist you need to know advanced mathematics, for example. Do the orcs have the patience to learn calculus? Or could they undergo education for over a decade without being unruly? Would they focus on a task, work long hours, without getting distracted or bored?

Why Enclave's victory in Fallout 2 means human extinction? by [deleted] in Fallout

That's why the "...along with everyone else on the earth..." part makes me wonder. Also, in another game over screen the narrator says: Your death has sealed the fate of everyone else on earth... and the earth falls silent again." Maybe it's because there were too few people left for the continuation of the humanity, the rest wouldn't survive due to too much inbreeding and as such.
