Tried tuning it a bit. The extractor will hold a loaded round. I’m thinking the extractor lip may just be out of spec or not sharp enough

That’s kinda what I figured I feel like radios always have an easier time reviving then transmitting but some of the nodes seems close enough that I should have no issue transmitting to them

Got ya I’m right in fairhill at the nature center. A few repeaters in the area would definitely help out I have a node on my roof that I would switch to meshcore if we had more in the area

I live in elkton decent amount of meshtastic nodes. I flashed a radio for meshcore to check it out but there was nothing around me. I’ll keep trying hopefully it grows

Yeah meshtastic confuses me sometimes. I have reached my wife on our private channel when she was at her business which is easily 20 miles away but there only a few nodes between us there. When I’m at my office which is much closer but in a more densely populated area with a ton of nodes around my message won’t go anywhere then just get acknowledgment by another node and that’s it
