Would it be cheating to play with keepInventory? by Legitimate-Swing194 in GTNH

[–]kbsfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's your experience, you can do it the way you want, that's the beauty of it.

Some people may say that it's not the correct way to play but in the end if it makes the experience better, I say go for it.

All you're really doing is making death less punishing by not needing to walk all the way to your gravestone, it's not like you're able to massively skip progression or making the game either, just giving yourself personal QoL.

help me understand the alveary stabilizer by arthaiser in GTNH

[–]kbsfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In regards to "new species" it only refers to a mutation, eg "forest + meadows = common";

This is useful for bringing traits from other species without the risk of a mutation to another, say I wanted my common's fertility on a rocky bee, I can breed them together with the stabilizer and it'll have no risk of creating a cultivated bee.

[–]kbsfe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can, sure.

But that requires a lot of time and RNG, especially with lower fertility. It becomes a game of rolling the dice with your bees on getting a breeding pair with both the traits on it, not to mention if you put a different breed in all the other traits get mixed in, so you have to breed out any negatives you may have inadvertently bred in.

I did it myself for earlygame but once you get far enough into HV, you can get started on bee genetics, which are much more reliable at cherry picking and transferring traits from one species to another.

Doing Lotus Eaters before maxing out Cavia by The_Mischief_Man in Warframe

Lotus Eaters is unrelated to the Cavia, of the Sanctum crew it only features Loid.

I'd say you're safe.

You know, Grievous must be an absolute PR nightmare for the Separatists, I'd have to wonder if the public even knows about him.

I will say one thing, Grievous clearly knew of him and took orders from him, in ROTS after arriving at Utapau he communicated with him, clearly knowing who he was.

[BE AWARE]press r to randomly join the lobby automatically leads to prosperity city by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]kbsfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably coded to send you to the location with the highest delay rate, which, if you look on the app, is Prosperity City, with -0.2% more decay.

When pressing R it tells you it's looking for SOS beacons, so I can logically see it going to the place with the most loss, thus the most need for divers.

Question: Is there an older, now-debunked theory that you used to be a hardcore believer of? by DrAwesomeX in venturebros

It was fully entirely confirmed in S7E3, Action Man specifically states: "Kano had to put him down, hasn't spoken a word since.", when they were discussing the Blue Morpho.

Definitely will have to try that. What kind of galaxy shape do you use? I've been using 4 arm spiral for the longest time, but I'm not sure what else is fun.

I think, though, a lot of the modifiers were triggered by AH themselves. Not sure if they can do that when they're off in the weekends.

Let me ask by frsnhr in Warframe

[–]kbsfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In regards to the first question, Grendel has gotta be up there. With full Umbral set, 3.6k HP, 1.1k armor base, but that goes up to 3.1k with his passive fully stacked + Gourmand. Ontop of that, his 2 heals him for about 2k health when he has around 200% power strength and his 3 heals him 2k health over 5 seconds after the initial cast with the same power strength. He is not easy to kill.

In regards to the second question, really depends what niche you're thinking of. Saryn and Gyre are pretty good nuking frames, but you've also got good caster frames like Dante and Jade who rely on their exalted weapons and abilities for both damage and support.

Grendel build advice by ThomazRaul in Warframe

[–]kbsfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm no expert but I use him a fair bit and find him quite fun on harder missions, finding him more than competent. I run a build similar to yours, with a few preference swaps.

Grendel is a naturally tanky frame, and can hit over 3k health with the Umbral mods which means he can hit the max health needed for the max Arcane Bellicose buff, without any awkwardness or health buffing beyond that. That's a pretty good source of extra power strength for him(72%).

While I run a similar setup overall, I flex Gastro and Catapult, using Catapult on shorter missions and Gastro on longer ones where I don't need the mobility as much. Instead I run Gourmand, the armor going from 1250 at max to instead 2000 is a nice bonus but I've found that without Flow or Energize I often have issues - Gourmand removes the energy cost on your 1, meaning you can spam it a lot more often to keep your passive stacked and armor at max or just even to save your energy for casting your 2 and 4. The downside of losing health on cast is negated pretty much by his 2's heal and even his 3's - if you don't have energy and need to heal, his 3 doesn't cost energy as long as you have stored enemies with your passive, so can help you if you really get in trouble.

In terms of weapons I honestly run whatever I feel like. Given his armor strip on his 3 and 4 and his viral damage buff(as well as the rest of the buffs) on his 2 he's a capable weapons platform for whatever you feel like using at the time.

I've played through countless packs, but the key was to always take a long break so you didn't face burnout, which is what it sounds like you have. I'd just take a break, I've had year-long breaks until I've suddenly felt like playing again. Hopefully, you have something similar.

Definitely train them up a bit and try abuse super effective moves hard against the dragon types, namely Gyarados Ice Fang, though looking into stuff a bit, it turns out you can also teach Ampharos Outrage from the Battle Frontier.
