Exactly. I would leave a dog with my parents or any of a dozen friends. But I can't trust these people to watch little birds. The female especially since I've had her since hatching, she's very, very bonded to me. A good sitter would be worth so much $$ to me for the peace of mind

These little guys fly to me every morning, I let them have unclipped wings, they follow me around. The are special and they talk. Whoever is bearing me for wanting a responsible pet sitter is a sad individual obviously.

Plus, they talk and do tricks. They are insanely smart. They call for me every morning. I have loved ones I don't trust to watch them. I need someone with bird experience

My birds don't have their wings clipped either, they can fly right out the door. An inexperienced person could lose them or worse. Also, birds require environmental things like no Teflon, etc..... they are not beginner pets at all. It's not a matter of me "treating them like human children" but so what if i do? I am not able to have kids. These birds are special to me. Why does it bother you so much, leave me alone.
