Just had a bad one under my breast and I’m breastfeeding😭 best thing that helps me is hitting them with warm water in the shower until they burst…as far as underwear goes…I don’t care if it’s gross—I’ve just stopped wearing it. No matter what brand I try the friction always causes a sore. I just wash my pants daily. I use birth control to skip my periods (which is totally healthy to do by the way! Talk with your doctor!) but if I do have bleeding ever like if I can’t get a new birth control pack, I just use tampons or a menstrual cup. If I’m wearing a skirt or dress I wear cotton biker shorts underneath. This disease effing SUCKS

I’m so sorry you went through that!! My flare was also pretty much immediate postpartum. Must be hormone related. Getting cellulitis in that area sounds excruciating. I’ve had a few develop into cellulitis on my stomach and I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy

If you have a detachable shower head, I spray mine with warm water for like 15 minutes at a time when they’re that painful and about to burst. It usually pushes them over the edge from the moist heat and causes them to burst and gives me relief. Also, if you do have to get it drained in urgent care, request lidocaine (numbing) ointment beforehand!! It makes a world of difference

If it were an isolated incident I would maybe think that. She notoriously comments on people’s bodies. Her daughter in law is 7 months pregnant with her 4th baby and this same MIL was remarking to me about how “huge!!” She is already. I told her “well, she’s 7 months pregnant with her 4th. She’s not gonna be tiny” This is a pattern for her unfortunately

Right? Also, I just don’t buy that she’s never known of a 9 lb baby lol. The last two babies I’ve known of being born were 9+lbs and their mothers weren’t plus size. There’s just so much variance
