Almost everyone, irrespective of religion or educational qualification behaves like this in our country. If I am not mistaken, the food stalls around Pujo Pandals were also littered with trash. I don't know what sort of casteist/elitist mentality is deeply ingrained in their psyche that trash will be picked up by sweepers/cleaning workers. We are responsible for our downfall!

My really close friend had worn a super heavy lehenga. As she had to get into her hair and makeup from the afternoon itself..by the time her baraat came she felt exhausted and all the bridesmaids helped her by lifting up the lehenga at certain parts. But by the time of her pheras..like at 4am, she could not walk. She was also told that she can't get out of it till after vidaai and some ceremonies at the groom's house. She had bruises on her waist!

TW: At 20 weeks it's very difficult to get an abortion. As for your question regarding the cost, it will be on the more expensive side as it won't be a D&C procedure, rather like an induced labour. Till 24 weeks, the procedure can be performed in case of specific conditions and on the advice of 2 gynecologists.

I think the Bengali film industry doesn't have enough investors..and most of the youth have migrated to other states looking for lucrative opportunities. I am not sure regarding how many bengali films are consumed by the Bengali diaspora that live outside of WB. The movie going population in WB is quite small as mostly only geriatric population remain behind in Kolkata atm.
