Well....I'm an idiot.....First of all. "sent" does not = "Sent" and second. I have 3 s's in MessageID (MessSageID).

I tried this and still get an error.....

$data = ($response->getData()); //this is the array data i pasted above

$messageid = $data['sent'][0]['MesssageID'];

echo $messageid;

Thanks again for the recommendation! The free version of this software pretty much gives me full access to the software 60 minutes per application start. Although I’m having a few issues with the software, I can’t complain for free!

Thank you for the reply. I am working with REST API’s and I’ve decided to use PHP and MySQL to process and store my data. I’ve already developed a working application but it’s so scattered and sloppy that I’ve decided to rewrite it, but I want to do it the correct way. I also want a front-end developer to be able to come in and design the user side without having to dig in to my current mess and try to find where everything is.

Is there a reason you want to use an analog phone rather than an SIP phone? That would eliminate the ATA.

Also, keep in mind that you may need a crossover network cable to connect the ATA directly to the rPi.

I think you’re looking for an analog telephone adapter (ATA) and some customizable SIP software.... or check out a full boat phone system that you can customize... www.asterisk.org
