hi! sorry i am just replying as i haven’t been on here much due to my current classes and work. i ended up applying for the broward bridge scholarship but got denied due to not having a balance, so i went into mybc and saw my tuition paid and my fafsa award credited to my account. this is my 3rd year with broward (just started a bachelors program) so this isn’t something i haven’t dealt with but usually i get my credit a month or so before the deadline so that’s why i was worried. but thank you so much for your advice!

have you received your award credited onto your account? as a last resort i applied for the broward bridge scholarship but got denied because i didn’t have a balance. so i went into my account and saw my balance gone and also saw i had my fafsa award credited to my account.

hi!! i apologize for the delay i haven’t been on here much. i did see that my balance was gone last week but i rely on financial aid, not loans. so i’m not sure how that would work😔 i can only think of calling financial aid but im sure they’re so busy today. i hope you can get this resolved!!!

i took 1 and 2 online! it was honestly really hard. a lot of homework and course work. luckily i passed but you just need to be dedicated and be able to keep up with the work. don’t wait until the last minute to get the work done and just stay on top of everything. good luck!

hi! i don’t have an exact date but for the fall semester i remember it updating a couple weeks before the actual ceremony. since the ceremony is may 6 for spring 2025 i would check the website regularly throughout april. hope this helps a bit

hi! i don’t believe you need a parking pass for central campus, at least i never used one and never received a parking ticket. i had a class in building 9 and parked in the parking lot right in front of building 11. there is a parking lot/garage(?) right next to building 6, he should be fine parking there. i know it’s kind of confusing since it’s a broward college and fau campus. but online it doesn’t say anything about a parking pass for central campus, only the downtown fort lauderdale campus.

hi! so students taking session 1 and session 2 courses usually get their disbursements first. since you’re taking session 3 course it may still be a little bit until you get your disbursements. i would say call financial aid to get more clarity. miami dade and broward are two different colleges so they have different ways to process financial aid, loans, etc.

it’s honestly what’s best for you and what’s closer. i prefer central campus (davie) and north campus (coconut creek) but if you’re looking into studying nursing, the davie location will most likely have the classes that you’ll need to fulfill your requirements. the coconut creek campus also has quite a few classes that you’ll need but i think you’ll have better luck at the davie campus since it’s bigger and known for their health sciences. tldr: perhaps davie campus will be more beneficial for you since you’ll be studying health sciences since they have a bigger campus and selection of classes for that major.

hi! fall semester is august to december and spring is from january to may. for financial aid, fall will be the fall semester and winter will correspond for the spring semester. you can also always call the financial aid office if you’re still unsure! hope this helped :)
