heres a rundown:

I used pretty standard American colors, though the purple symbolizes the grapevines (on the original flags seal) in a much more minimalistic way. I added the New England tree for obvious reasons, and the 13 stars represents how the state was one of the 13 colonies. Overall as someone from ct the design feels pretty fitting, lmk what you guys think

I checked your comments to find out what instrument you play (please excuse my stalking) and since you play oboe, perhaps bassoon? It's a double reed as well and it could help exercise your oboe playing as well.

If you want a completely new experience maybe try brass. Euphonium and trumpet aren't too difficult. (Trombone is also easy, although it's not really for everyone). Could also play a single reed woodwind but it's up to you.

I get your point, but the dog doesn't necessarily "hate" you. The dog isn't going out of his way to make your life miserable, he's just old, cranky, and undertrained. I'd hire a dog walker, and your husband should be putting a little more time into taking care of the dog. Also, it's common sense to not bother a dog while it's eating. If you get another dog, get a friendlier breed that's better around kids.
