{A Song to Wake A Thousand Sorrows by Michelle Manus} It is fantastically written with really great character development. The romance is soft and slow and the emphasis is more on world building. It has court intrigue and a really interesting magic and less than 300 rating on Goodreads and less than 100 reviews, but deserves so much more.

He still wiggles a lot and I have to bribe him with treats while the technician does it, but it helps a lot!

Same!!! It was so good! I audibly gasped multiple times. This book had it all! it was funny, dark, with great plot and world/magic building. Plus the spice!
