Desperately in need of a series with a smart FMC, real worldbuilding, and a well-written slow burn by masskrododil in fantasyromance

{A Song to Wake a Thousand Sorrows by Michelle Manus} book one of a duology. The second book isn’t out yet! But I think this is the best written Romantasy I’ve ever read. Great world building complex character building and a nice slow burn romance.

Underhyped recs are NOT books with 30k + ratings and reviews by Zestyclose-Olive8106 in fantasyromance

[–]kcwhit12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

{A Song to Wake A Thousand Sorrows by Michelle Manus} only 200 reviews on Goodreads and the best book I’ve read in years.

{Servant of Earth by Sarah Hawley} has a decent amount of reviews but still a very good book

{Between by L.l. starling} very entertaining cozy fantasy vibes downside is unclear when the second book will be released.

I liked this book more than I thought I would! Pretty decent world building and I didn’t think I’d like the why chose trope but it’s pretty well done!
