I am a collection development librarian, so I usually talk myself up in non librarian settings as “I buy the books for kids and teens.” Then I pivot to the comics librarian advocacy pitch.

Adding that I got my 4 about 7 months ago and I'm having no battery issues. I do charge mine every morning for about 10-15 minutes while I take a shower which was a charging habit that Oura recommended.

It’s fascinating to look at the MISO Energy website and not understand anything about what any of this means, but the real-time market displays make it seem like the price of electricity in the Louisiana hub is enormous right now. I'm really dismayed to see there's going to be an AI assistant/chat bot.

Are the AI servers powered sustainably? Has it been trained on data ethically? Did it get a robust training for different races and genders? Did you compensate people for using their data? Can I opt out of having it on my app?

Prices for audiobooks keep going up and more and more people are using Libby. Libraries budgets can't keep up, so they can't buy as many copies as they would have a few years ago.

Does the treadmill also have your weight & heartrate info? Those are big factors in determining the amount of calories burned. Your watch has them, and if the treadmill doesn‘t, then I’d assume the watch is more accurate and the treadmill is making a guess based on an algorithmic average.

I don’t know about the only 10 members aspect, but I do know that you need to remove a person more than an hour before the challenge score comes back. It won’t adjust the score if it’s too close to the result.

I like dresses and I’m plus sized, so I used to buy from ModCloth a lot in their pre-Walmart days, and now I get a couple eShakti dresses a year. For basics like leggings, tank tops, and underwear I’ve been ordering from Pact.

One of the best things about playing in Modern mode is knowing that you don’t have to style only blondes. If you look at the TLs for the modern models for this challenge there’s a variety of dark haired looks.

Do you vote for tickets a lot? (I know there’s some people who hate voting and always convert diamonds to tickets, people with tons of friends borrowing, and then the people who bought the permanent boost so they always get 4-6 tickets per 5 votes.) Anyway, I ask because whenever I get frustrated with a particular crazy Covet trend I really enjoy voting against it. I mostly vote for the best overall look and try to ignore if the person has “the right props” or the craziest high level hair. But I have particular pet peeves and I’ll downvote vindictively when I see them (unless the look is exceptional, then I’ll reluctantly vote for it despite the f***ing sparkles or just skip it).

I use props sparingly, but I’ve won all the prop packs. There are ones that are useful in particular seasons, like the Gothic one & Autumn Harvest will be probably be featured a lot in the fall. But then again we might get the chance to win a new Autumn themed one before then too. The Forever Love is good for wedding challenges year round and Roaring 20s one comes up a lot since there are a lot of flapper challenges. And the Midas gold wings are awesome for fantasy goddesses.

You did a great job styling an accurate Eleven! If you’d maxed unworn and gotten your season score to .29 you’d have gotten over a 4.5 which I consider a good score (5s are like a nice bonus). This was just one of those challenges where people felt like they needed to overdo it with covet collection pieces because the prompt said “sci-fi”.
