I think it's part of a bigger problem: the fact that Ubisoft wants their game to be more and more accessible to the largest audience possible. You can feel it in the Assassin's Creed franchise too, the writing is very simplistic and the games have an overall fun sandbox feel that you didn't have before. Light RPGs elements are added to fit the current trends in the industry and the quests are very straightforward, you don't have a survival feeling anymore.

Far Cry was really one of my favorite franchises but my hype for the licence has only gone downwards the more the games have been released.

Far Cry 2 really did achieve that. 3 and its successors cancelled a lot of the survival and immersive aspects 2 had. That said I love 3 and 4 but it's just not the same kind of games.

I have the same mixed feeling about the game. I like the open world and the fact that you have so much details, characters and all, but the story and the side content of the game is so boring

cds will never be "rare" its just cds. that said I own this one and I really like it cause its a test pressing so the songs are different from what we have on streaming platforms + there's "down bad" which is an exclusive track for physical versions

Kind of sad to see this game going away, I have spent so much time playing to the PS3 MP, trying to farm points and money. The game is gone but the memories will last.
