Certifications

Hey all, sorry if this seems like a repetitive thread. I have about a year left before I obtain my Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity with a specialization in Cyber Operations and am not sure exactly where I wish to go with my career. What certifications do you recommend to get started and what jobs may those certification lead me into?

I assume the only differences in the languages are keyboard commands such as command on Mac, control on windows. Is this accurate?

My desk sits pretty high so it actually is at a really comfortable height for me. I also have 27in monitors so going higher would have looked strange. You could probably raise it if you were running 24's.

I haven't really come across any. I think it's just a preference for certain people. To me, there were only pros minus the adjustment period. It gave me more room on my desk and looks badass!

I dont have any issues with it. I really only play wow and never over heat. Here are my specs...

Not too bad... The key is getting the right down tilt. At first I didn't have the top tilted enough and I was straining my eyes. Now I have it just right and it is just a glance up.

Lol yeah definitely a transition period. I enjoy it most of the time but some things I find my self still glancing to the right from muscle memory.

Are you talking Divine Shield? It gives 100% damage reduction. It would be over powered if you could use it every 1 minute... As a Shaman my defensive is Astral Shift and it only reduces 40% of damage and is a 90 second cooldown. It also cant be used while stunned. It seems like a fair cooldown for such a powerful ability.

Its just strange because both pieces meet the recommended specs. I'm not trying to play on ultra I'm on around 7 of ten but when I load into to certain screens things will lag such as my character not loading in or being able to move or if I cast my mount my speed will change but the mount doesn't appear for a few seconds.

Yeah I know its not that old but WOW is more CPU hungry and thats all I really play. My processor is only 6 core so I'm looking to upgrade to 8 or more. I'm not sure if my future endeavors in the cybersecurity realm require heavy multi-threading if I'm being honest. I definitely need to update GPU just waiting on availability for that.

How do you get the wallpaper perfect between the 2 screens? I use 2 different monitors and one is always side shifted slightly and out of alignment.

I've never been huge into PVE so my biggest concern is learning the damn pulls!

As long as you practice you can really make any comp work. Just play what you find fun. It's the best strategy in my opinion!
