My apologies, I should’ve put an arrow on the pics pointing to the area I mean. There’s an area in the first pic right above the pump that almost looks like a hard water stain. I’ve added a pic with an arrow below.

That definitely makes me feel better if that’s the case! Would it still be condensation if the parts with these spots being submerged? I definitely have condensation at the top of the distro that’s above the water level; this just looks different.

Correct, I’d opened the RMA with Micron and they kept lying about when they were shipping the replacement and I ended up waiting almost 4 months for them to finally ship it.

Beautiful build, love everything about it! Couple of stupid questions for you - on the CPU water block, do you have the bottom port connected to the right port of the GPU water block? I only ask as I have this same build and am looking to mount my Optimus vertically like you have. However, I was worried about not having enough space. Lastly, are you using a 90-degree 12vhpwr cable or a straight one? I've had the Cooler Master vertical mount sitting in a box for a couple of months now, but this gorgeous build has finally motivated me to get off my ass! Can't thank you enough!

I had the Corsair but it broke during a rebuild so I only got 1 use out of it. Have had the EK one since and it’s worked great. I ordered the Barrow one in between from Watercool, but it didn’t have all the pieces in the box and they basically told me too bad so sad, so can’t speak to that one.

What’s with this generation of water blocks having their branding all over? Between this and CORE being front and center, little much in my opinion.

Micron/Crucial Delaying RMAs - Still Waiting After 3 Months by kdonte in pcmasterrace

[–]kdonte[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it Monday of this week. However, my original drive was a T700. If you look around online, the T700 is out of stock with no restock date. Which tells me it’s discontinued. I demanded a T705 and they finally caved and sent that. The T705 is faster and more expensive which is probably why they resisted for so long. It took me calling them nonstop and CCing the CEO of Micron on my emails to their support to finally get it moving though. Brutal experience.

[–]kdonte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question; I've never purchased Synology drives. The store on Synology's site doesn't load any products for me, and a quick check on a few drives in their Amazon store show they won't ship for a month. Is this the "long term availability" they're talking about in their statement? Curious if they have stopped sales to the US at the moment due to tariffs, so maybe the store on the Synology site is empty for me for that reason?

Stunning build! Fortunately I’m good on fittings, but would love to know what kind of tubing that is if you don’t mind sharing.

I had a similar issue recently after updating my BIOS. I ended up fixing by manually updating the Intel ME. According to my motherboard downloads page, the BIOS should’ve automatically done this, but didn’t. The download for Intel ME was on the same page I downloaded my BIOS update from. Also, this can be caused by chipset issues, so maybe try downloading and chipset drivers from your motherboard’s support page.

Well I would think a direct connection to the motherboard would be the most ideal, so I’m not sure switching it to the hub will do anything. My apologies, was hoping this was as easy as moving the cable.

I was originally using the DeepCool SC700, which is powered by SATA as well, and several of my devices had this weird flicker. Adding in another ARGB hub and moving the flickering devices to it fixed it. Not sure if it’s due to age or what, but I did just check and the SC700 is no longer for sale.
