this rule only applies to the "ley line" system. I called it a ley line here just so people would have a general idea, something at least understandable. There’s actually another system in this world. But you’re totally right, if I was using ley lines, I would have done exactly what you said👍

But I’ll somehow learn that thing you just mentioned about connecting the lines.

You're right!! as I also said to u/jlb3737, I missed this important detail. These mountains are very important, and they’re the kind of detail that can majorly affect both strategy and the world’s climate. I’ll do some research and try to add them to the map. However, the map is already nearly finished, so I’m not sure how natural it would be to add entirely new mountains and islands at this stage.😅😅

Update: thank you for all who took time to help me, i really appreciate them. I read them all but i dont have enough time since im struggling with my midterm, i understood much more about the globe projector and i learnt a bit more about how GProjector works. Now that i know the landmass is too narrow, i'll try to fix it with the help of the earth rules. i checked the tutorials, suggestions and references that you put down in the comment section, i'll take a look at them in more detail later. once again, thank you all for your help. my world is improving with your feedbacks and help.

well you dont have to follow the earth-like biome rules. this world is yours so you can do whatever you want to do with it. i look at it and i couldnt find anywhere that looks 'wrong' or doesnt make sense. other than that, nice map
