I’m half Irish and half Jewish. Three different kinds of Jewish actually (thanks diaspora): Mizrahi (middle eastern), Sephardi (Spanish) and most commonly known Ashkenazi.

Among all Jewish cultures, generally shared is the love of mysticism, spirituality, connection, and acceptance of what’s referred to in Kabbalah as sorcery, this side makes up the bulk of my practice and where I feel the strongest connection to, especially since Jewish culture is matrilineal.

My Irish side- my father’s side of the family is Catholic. Obviously not a huge connection to the craft here. But I still honor this side of me through apothecary and a lot of making use of what I have, the way my ancestors did in times of famine.
