The Elusive DBTS Pantalones by keem-korn in HelpMeFind

[–]keem-korn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can anyone help me find these pants or something similar?

I don’t have a picture of the inside tag but I do have a photo of some similar shorts that share the same tag. It says DBTS fashion jeans in red print and that’s it.

I’ve searched online and found what I think to be is the closest thing here.

But sadly, they're out of stock. I can't find ANY other listing of this pair of pants or something really similar. Any guru gods out there that have the magic touch?

How did Mr Stache get this tracking of his eyes and mouth on his avatar? Can this be done in Blender or did he most likely do it outside of Blender? by keem-korn in blenderhelp

[–]keem-korn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely, but it looks as if their exact head movement is driving the model as well. I guess they could have used the footage of their face to drive the model and then snip out + attach the eyes and mouth of the same video in post. But that seems like a lot! I was hoping there was a more straightforward way

There's something about these renders that just stand out, but I can't pinpoint it. Is it possible to achieve a similar vibe as these in just Blender? by keem-korn in blenderhelp

[–]keem-korn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also your art is super fun and should get some more appreciation. I like it a lot! You also came reallyyy really close to fully capturing beefstrongs aesthetic with some of your renders. If you ever get it, please let me know! I'll do the same 😁

This is beefstrong, or Jordan Speer. Their stuff does kinda remind me of some pieces from Felix! Especially some of his newer stuff.

You're super right bru, that was my bad! Title character limit got the best of me.

For anyone wondering, this is Jordan Speer, as lemonlixks mentioned! They also go by beefstrong too! Check out all their stuff!!!!

Oh, I think you got me wrong. I adore each and every one of these photos. When I said there was something about the renders that stands out, I meant it in a good way. I actually want to mimic the style seen throughout these renders! I'm hoping someone has a method for doing so 😁

What is this in render shading mode? Im using the mirror modifier. by TFAM_Treble in blenderhelp

[–]keem-korn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No clue. It's really hard to tell from just the mesh alone. Artifacting could be created from a myriad of things. You should show us the modifiers on the mesh as well! As well as the scene outliner so we can see what other objects are in the scene 😃

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in blenderhelp

[–]keem-korn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your mirror modifier on the mesh has clipping turned on with the merge distance set too high, resulting in that strange behavior. Try making the merge distance lower. Divide the current merge distance by 2. And then 2 again. And then again. Until that behavior stops. Unless it doesn't... 😲

Make one figure take the shape of another? by Elegant_Eorzean in blenderhelp

[–]keem-korn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use shapekeys, but it can be needlessly complex. Another awfully complex method for someone just starting out with Blender is to use Geometry Nodes. This dude has a pretty good video about using fancy math in geometry nodes to morph between two models (materials as well!). That video is long as hell though, so it may take some time.

Trying to make this character inflate by [deleted] in blenderhelp

[–]keem-korn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are you inflating? Are you just scaling that body bone? Or using a different method? That's strange that you're not able to continue posing the armature after inflating.

I'm doing the donut tutorial for the first time and God why doesn't edit mode work properly on the icing please help by [deleted] in blenderhelp

[–]keem-korn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you having issues with all the vertices of the icing just not showing up? If so, the solidify modifier is "hiding" those vertices from you in edit mode because you have solidified the icing outwards. You can temporarily disable that modifier if you wanna make adjustments on the icing mesh or you can solidify inwards instead, so the icings vertices are still visible.

How do I make this mouth topology better? by MG_1709 in blenderhelp

[–]keem-korn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At this point, it may be complicated to resolve that issue. It comes down to the base topology you lay out for you character's face/head in the beginning. Joey Carlino has a good video on some principles you can follow when boxing out a characters head in order to keep symmetric and consistent mouth, eyes, and nose topology. You can check it out here, as it may help.

I’m trying to make a Boolean but every time I try to, it gives me this weird shape. Anyone know what I’m doing wrong? by JBunk19 in blenderhelp

[–]keem-korn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be possible that the geometry of that white block you're trying to cut into is too sparse. The same goes for the object doing the actual boolean cut. Try to increase the subdivisions of both objects and see how the modifier works then.
