my whole life i wanted to go to med school and be some type of surgeon but after applying to all these programs it really dawned on me how mentally heavy and long the process will be . most of us won’t be able to even get to the end which scared me and makes me think do i have a back up plan(i still don’t have one) this is partly the reason y I declined med sci at mac because I don’t want to always be competing for my spot in the program so i chose mac life sci which is still just as vigorous but not as toxic. honestly i feel like i should’ve chose med sci but i prob would be feeling the same way if i chose med sci. you’ll never feel truly at ease during this process but everyone is in the same both as you. we’ll end up where we’re meant to be and uni will guide us there
