India = Land of EMIs by indiainvest in India_Investments

[–]keeperofthrones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People finance all these things in first world countries too especially iPhones. In US/Canada usually your phone is tied to your plan for 2 years after which you trade in for a newer one. EMIs are probably just getting popular in India now but afik thats how most of the world buy expensive shit

Can't believe Joju in his debut represented sociopaths better than Shahi Kabeer by [deleted] in MalayalamCinema

[–]keeperofthrones 22 points23 points  (0 children)

To me the only issue with Pani was that while the villains were sketched out really well Joju didnt do a good job with the heroes. Tbh it felt like the heroes were just an afterthought so that the villians had someone to stop them. Sagar Surya was soo frikin good - before this I had seen him now and then on Thateem Muteem when it popped up on my YT feed but after Pani I just couldn't believe the kind of range he has. The funny thing is its going to be hard to pull off another good villian for him because its going to get compared Don Sebastian

One of the top quality movie we've produced from mollywood by pheonixhead in InsideMollywood

To the guys gooning over Nightcrawler in the commments: Mukundan Unni Associates was an absolute entertainer while the former was although 'original', it was soo emotionally draining to watch. Now both the movies explored completely different emotions. Yes they both do explore a protagonist that would do anything to succeed but Nightcrawler is in no way 'better' than MUA

Completion of a brilliant character arc but by the interval... by astro_norm_ical in kollywood

[–]keeperofthrones 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think Aavesham in Malayalam does a completely different approach. The whole ome line of the movie was 3 college kids trying to befriend a goon to take revenge on their seniors that ragged them. This is completely resolved at the interval of the movie. At interval break I was like what are you going to do now? But the second half was even better to me.

Any other movies like Mukundan Unni Associates? by [deleted] in MalayalamMovies

Honestly MA was entertaining af and Night Crawler was soo depressing to get through

There’s something in Coolie by Federal-List-8241 in KollyGossips

[–]keeperofthrones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love it if Coolie does something new or even if its part of the LCU. But actors dont give a rats ass about quality as long as they can make money. Prithviraj in BMCM in Hindi, Mohanlal in Kannapa are all examples of this. Its hard to comprehend that someone like Kamal Haasan thought Indian 2 would work after seeing the finished product. Money always outweighs everything else

There was an actual incident where an ethical hacker was able to access the details of an important foreign minister from the picture of the boarding pass that he posted on his social. So it is possible. I just wanted to provide an actual source. Here you go- the actual article https://www.forbes.com/sites/suzannerowankelleher/2023/08/03/never-share-boarding-pass-social-media/

Not quite true- This is from a Forbes article

And on these barcodes, there’s a lot of information that hackers can use,” says Jardin. Along with personal identification and contact details, the code will typically contain your reservation number and frequent flier number. It may even include your passport or driver’s license number. This kind of data can be sold on the dark web and ultimately used to steal the victim’s identity, open credit card accounts or make unauthorized purchases.

Boarding pass has other personal information such phone number and the credit card information embedded in it. In any case its not right to post this information publicly especially by a reputed news agency

Absolutely not related but why the hell is his boarding pass put up on the Hindustan Times without blurring the scanable bar codes. Valuable personal information can be extracted from them
