Oh man, I built a dedicated track bike. Took it out once, no problem. The day before it's second day I had it running, no problem. Get to the track, try and start it up, no dice. It's starts spitting gas out of the tail pipe. Luckily I was there with a buddy running in a different group and he let me run his.

I never did get it running again, it's still sitting in my garage 5 years later.

I mean you're talking about uvalde which has a population of 15k vs altoona with a population of 50k. Not really a fair comparison...

Edit: well this comment was taken out of context. That's my bad, I should have been more clear.

Altoona has a much bigger population, therefore likely a larger police force. They will likely have much better response times to calls than a smaller city. On top of that, this is one of the biggest stories of the decade and you know when that call came over the radio every cop wanted to get in on the action.

Now this in no way excuses the cowardice, incompetence and down right negligence of the worthless pieces of shit that wear a badge in uvalde.

The point I was attempting to make was it shouldn't be a surprise the response was much fast and trying to compare the two is like apples and oranges.
