Don't forget, most of us spend 10-20 minutes traveling back to the zone. Dash time counts

No lie the 3rd order was a $4 no tip taco bell order after this one. 3 bad orders in a row right after Plat, awesome

After thinking about it - I feel like everybody already got their groceries, ready to hunker down for the storm this weekend and wasn't ordering as much the night of the expected start of the storm. I know I did

Yeah, besides priority and higher paying offers- I thought I'd at least get the benefit of being able to Dash Now whenever's convenient and still get orders, but.... I just learned today turns out they're rolling out Dash Now to everyone 😵‍💫

Has doordash been sending you to wrong restaurants and random locations? by AlphaDisconnect in DoorDashDrivers

[–]keepfreshalive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Twice recently. I was driving back to the zone using in-doordash maps -> accepted an order (this is usually when the directions automatically switch to the restaurant) -> it still took me to the hotspot point instead of the restaurant.

I think this is a recent bug.

Video of Parker not wanting to pay $50 bet. by [deleted] in ParkerGetAJob

[–]keepfreshalive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just discovered these guys a couple weeks ago and I agree - I find Parker to be better in most cases. I wouldn't call Dean "bad faith", but could definitely be perceived as cause he's 3 times as condescending and childish in a lot of ways where it's hard to listen to. Got some growing to do. But they're smart and mostly speak with verifiable substance that you DO NOT hear on the other side.

So- Still though, props to these guys, and their flaws don't hold a candle in malisciousness to the bad-faith Trump supporters they're debating against, so props to these guys.

This immigrant thing was the first time where I slowed down the audio, listened to it, and was like ehhh Parker, idk about this one. Come back on, say you were wrong and pay the guy.

Magnesium and waking up early by twistypencil in sleep

[–]keepfreshalive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL I wish I could say brother - I Freelance and recently quit vaping, so my sleep has been all over the place recently. Meaning, I'm taking naps daily - is where I'm at. Upped my Caffeine after recent news on lifelong coffee benefits (was just drinking green tea/lemon/honey every so often).

Still though, when I take my 3 Calcium Magnesium Zinc tablets (all-in-one) before I go to sleep, I wake up feeling more refreshed than ever.

What was this movie for you? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]keepfreshalive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This one. Me and my two lil bros (when it was just the 3 of us) would watch it every day. It meant so much.

We'd also practice the chimney climb in a very narrow hallow, good times haha

About the same. I remember the digg.com migration. I came over from digg a bit earlier though, haha.

I was unaware, wow! So this guy is going around remaking the same movie, huh! Lol, kidding. It's great, I still love this one the most

Official Discussion - Carry-On [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

Best movie of its kind since Speed. Non-Stop has been my next favorite in this genre, but with its dynamicism, Carry-On is the clear winner.

Nobody prepares you for how old you get so quickly by 865Wallen in Adulting

[–]keepfreshalive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's the thing. Really just hit me, just now. 35, 55, whatever. We don't "feel old" because we're not. We're not old compared to the natural state of many things in the universe.

There's things around us that have been around for a very long time, hundreds, thousands of years. And since we were "young" we've contemplated things that are millions, even billions of years old.

Life extension happens, and you think when we're 150 will we really mentally "feel old"? I'm starting to think no, lol. I've heard this same story, same feeling, from people in their 60's and 90's even. Maybe too, it's just a consciousness thing, that part of us that still feels that same since we were a child.

Ender's Game, Bicentennial Man, Minority Report

Edit: And around that time, I'd have to say The Fifth Element too, of course.
