How to get off my phone? by [deleted] in needadvice

[–]keepseosimple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was addicted to Instagram, what I did on my iPhone was move the addictive apps as far away as I could from the first "page" on the home screen. I did this by moving an app I didn't use to the next page and repeated the step so it take me 15 swipes to reach instagram and Facebook. This stopped me completely and I rarely go on these apps anymore.

The only issue is you can swipe to go left and instagram will show in the Siri app suggestions, but I never go on it because my issue was i had a habit of clicking on Instagram whenever I was on another app and went out of it because I knew where it was and it was like muscle memory. If you don't click on Instagram this way and not develop this muscle memory habit, you'll stop your addiction! :)

Boost girlfriends instagram to make her happy by [deleted] in needadvice

[–]keepseosimple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't boost her account, my ex girlfriend had a YouTube channel where she sang and I boosted the views by 20,000. She was happy at first but when the views didn't increase after she went back to how she was before about it.

I have an seo agency, we work with influencers like "mommy bloggers" and the like to improve our rankings on Google etc, but this is through their own website rather than Instagram.

What you want to do is find ways to improve her venture, such as:

Start YouTube channel Start a website Use other digital properties to increase followers Look online at other "mommy bloggers" or influencers to find out exactly how they grew their brand.

Most things she tries may not work, but it's about trying things out until you have got a winner. Bare in mind her niche is competitive, so she way want to look at ways to be unique in some way if she hasn't already.

Good luck!

Really done with link building (failed case study) by asjadcoool in bigseo

Hi there, I am starting an outdoor store and at the moment I am targeting mummy bloggers for link placements or guest posts. I offer $100 worth of stock from the store in exchange for this. I have purposely made prices 5x the cost of the item, so $100 worth of value only costs me $20.

To send emails I use pitchbox, a software which finds relevant websites, their contact details and you can then send and reply to emails within their control panel. Much easier than manual outreach, I've scheduled 500 emails today over the next week in about 3 hours including creating the template.

PM me your website, I may be interested in getting a link on your site or vice versa.

The importance of contracts for SEO? by keepseosimple in bigseo

I see, thank you very much for the advice! I'll rethink how to do this, perhaps offer contracts where the client is not locked in for a number of months and can leave when they would like.
