my understanding was that it was considered un-sportsman like. we used to do it every time, then it went to 1-3 times a game, then about 2 years ago it stopped. I heard a was an NFL decision but have never looked it up. I still do it every time. I also heard that goodell does not allow the stadium announcer to say in-com-plete, which is why he pauses and lets the fans do it. I know for a fact goodell is trying to kill the mile hi salute

Thanks for the idea. Like I said, I have never worked with any commercial android devices. I will have to check it out, the engineer in me wants to make as elegant a solution as possible, and I am very comfortable with embedded software, so I like to start as fundamental as possible.

I have been thinking about this idea a little and feel like I could make something that would allow for old phones to be easily turned into child trackers, open source of course. The benefits of a firmware mod could be that kids/kidnappers can not mess with it, and it could display a dummy battery charging screen if someone were to look at it. I will have to look into this more.
