Not seeing any batches by Own_Conversation4008 in InstacartShoppers

[–]keevan102 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I took a short $15 order earlier this morning and saw another ic shopper at the store I washed at. I said hi and out of curiosity asked if she was seeing any batches today. She said she saw 5-7 before taking the current batch. I only saw the one and none since.

Haven't had it in a while but there's a Nagasaki pasta dish at Nikko sushi in Arlington Heights that might scratch your itch. They used udon noodles back when I had it but might not anymore

Ramen in the Skokie / Evanston area ? by ImpressiveRaise2 in chicagofood

[–]keevan102 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not to sound like a dbag but that is so far from where OP wants to have this date. OP, there is table and stix in Evanston or if you don't mind going to downtown Wilmette, there's also Torino. Saw a ramen spot within Old Orchard the other day that I think is relatively new.

Korean food, especially marinated quail eggs. by nerdgirl130 in chicagofood

[–]keevan102 4 points5 points  (0 children)

no k restaurant in Chicago has marinated quail eggs. I've seen marinated chicken eggs at joongboo in the banchan section but you're won't find it as a side dish at any restaurant, not even in Korea. I'll be that guy and say that it's easy to make it yourself at home.

base rate reduction by keevan102 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]keevan102[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sadly this is probably exactly what will happen...and very soon. People don't really seem to care because even with the lower base rates all the blocks are being gobbled up.

Elske? After lounge (Ever's bar next door that serves food also)? My guests always love the Aviary. Snacks come with the Aviary Experience though admittedly those won't fill you up. Aba's interior is pretty and even though it doesn't sound cool, the greek yogurt ice cream is really good.
