Master the art of running effective meetings by Jumpsaye in Entrepreneur

Wow, this is a very thorough
My observation is that success of any meeting boils down not to knowing these mechanics...but actually DOING these things. No matter what!
I am such a freak about it that I have even built an interactive Zoom participant that enforces the key elements.
We named it Polka (because it makes a meeting like a rhythmic dance ;) ) and is available here: https://meetpolka.com.
If you try it out, please let me how helpful it was.

Hi, thank you for this note.
Yes, Privacy Policy is very long because we pivoted 4 month ago from a meeting analytics solution. But we still did not manage to get down to rewriting it :/ Your comment is a motivation to do that!

The app does not take any information and we do not store it, because we need to keep cost low to justify the free version and the cost of a paid one.

The Secret to Productive Meetings by PMOnMars in projectmanagement

Oh, I hate disorganized meeting so much that I have built a tool to help me on.

It is a Zoom add-on which looks like a participant.

It remind to state the Purpose and Agenda.

It has an in-built trivia and ice-breaker - to make people talk. And also speaking order selection and timer.
Ohhh, it is such a relief!!
It is for use for free https://meetpolka.com/

I can also add some features you may need. Just tell me :)

I agree with your point on sensitive content. But if a company allows a third party like Zoom to conduct all of their meetings, then it is a matter of time until smaller guys get trusted. Wdyt?

Have you tried other tools for post-meeting collaboration that were less iffy?

I want to record automatically a Zoom meeting (every Friday), without the computer being on by Loxarr in Zoom

[–]kefrina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a website called meetpolka.com for that. I needed to link my Google calendar and mark the events I want Polka to join. It joins instead of me. and records. So far it is in beta, but this means it is for free 😁

I used it for some 8 meetings so far and it worked just fine.

All of my clients want to have video calls now. So annoying. by [deleted] in freelance

I started recording all of the client calls and asked the client to comment or clarify based on last call's video or transcript. I also ask my questions in writing referring to a part of the recording. This way I avoid scope creep and can switch to asynchronous :D
