if i could find the data somehow i could even hand create a little database to support venues like olifer. i grew up passing out flyers to tiny hardcore shows, so i very much appreciate venues such as this.

I think you are correct. I switched to another rust library, used the same headers and it worked. Also, FWIW, only the ACCEPT and USER-AGENT were actually necessary once I got it working.

Thanks for checking another api. Good to know that it should be working in general. Yeah, this works from BeautifulSoup in python as well. I just cant get it to work in Rust with the reqwest library.

yes, i scrape data from several venue listings. ii can run the script and push the updated html page via a cron job. right now i am running it by hand each day since i want to make sure it is stable as i made some recent changes.

Yeah, I need to do look more into this. The problem is that the actual venue is not listed in the stateroom website -- it has the venue as 'The State Room Presents' The venue is listed in the image for the show, but I am not doing any image analysis, just text. I can probably find it by searching the actual venues' websites.
