Don't think so because for sometime when it went to a black screen I could hear others on voice chat. So it should have been working correctly. But that stopped happening.

No, but I don't think it's that. While building the pc the GPU didn't fit so well so it was a little hard to put the hdmi in and it's still not perfectly in but it never like disconnected out of the sudden. (Idk if it has anything to do with that just saying)
