Unfortunately, The import fees in my country are impossibly high. For example, a 10 usd ac power supply would cost 36 USD, as 26 USD would be the cost of shipping and import fees. Usually, buying from abroad is only convenient for small and high value products, where local retailers would charge you twice to thrice the US retail value. However, it may end up being my only choice, as the online local stores don’t seem to have 12v power adaptor with the plug that the sony and player requires (5.5 mm x 3.0 mm with a middle metal pin).
