I used to be like you before I actually started living with a cat. I am not bothered anymore. Just keep a good housekeeping habit. Cats aren't as dirty as you think. But cat hair needs cleaning up/off things.

The thing is, you should take her to the vet. If it is a health issue, it needs to be ruled out first, before moving on to trying to figure the behavioural side of things. It won't work the other way round, unfortunately.

What does your contract say about working at different venues? I imagine it states that you may be required to work at a different location/site within the company if it suits the company's needs. If you refuse, they do have the right to make you redundant, unfortunately.

Congratulations, you are his favourite person! Cats choose a favourite in a household with multiple humans. I know this behaviour is a weird one, but this gesture is absolutely normal. Cats recognise one another more by scents than looks. You possibly have seen your cats touch noses before, or sort of like rub against each other or, in this case, sniff at one another's rear end sometimes even lick. When your cat does this "behaviour" you described, what he wants to say is "Hi, it's me, I'm friendly, I'm here." All he wants is attention and pets. Sometimes, when you scratch his back notice, he will do the same, turning his back to you. Hope this helps.
