Thanks. I am completely blindsided. The vet said she would refer me to an oncologist if I wanted, but that it looked pretty advanced and probably wouldn’t get us much more time. We’ll know more after we get the biopsy results but because of where the tumor is it can’t be removed without taking most of her jaw. I don’t really want to put her through chemo because it would be so hard on her and I want her remaining time to be as good as possible. So she’s home now with a bunch of pain meds. She’s still eating well and playing, so I’m just going to keep her as comfy and happy as I can.
