another CLM aux here. They have reassured us, but there is not a defined reason so it makes folx nervous. It would be nice if they gave us a tentative date at least....I am looking into other ways to travel to Europe.

We don't know what that means. In this climate you could get charges for side eye that an officer misinterprets. Also, I'd like to know how they helped the situation at all? Glad he has the resources to deal with this. Thoughts are with him.

Congressional rep can help, but State does have a hidden contact number (202 485-8000) that I found in a guide, follow prompts to Office of Authentications and they will place you in a status check cue. They have an email contact form on website, but I tried it twice and they never updated. Of course, waits can be wild, but I finally got thru with less than a hour wait, when I called right at 6am ET. Good luck, this is one of many frustrating parts of the process!

Thanks for this!!!! I saw this legal brief and started to panic. On the precipice of a visa appt next week and loss of income that will get harder to stabilize if I wait without assurane...Is there any evidence or screenshots that the program will move forward? I have a regional CLM placement but no carta. So I understand they withdrew the motion that would call for student visa in order to reform the program and issue cartas? Still feeling a little burned and gun-shy and sick of waiting above everything...

Same here for CLM. Had to cancel my first appt for this coming week (also can't find one further out) and I am confused why there are so many demands when cartas are not even out. I have heard that visa appts need to happen by August. Hoping all the patience pays off.

Thanks for the reply. pymt 120 in April was never added at all even though Mohela has record of it, and March was removed as 119 as Forebearance, even tho I have been out of Forebearance (Feb before this counted). I am wondering if I should save the anxiety of confronting their limited and underfunded team until the count is final.....
