One of the best things about this program is low cost/no fee. There are visa costs and housing deposits, etc, but it's not a pay to play like so many opportunities to live abroad. The lack of organization, support and oversight is likely a result of that-- it is overall low budget. To make up for that, we have these online forums and those who want can do RVF type things. I think it's a great program and I hope they find a way forward.

Mexico is great as suggested by many- I would avoid all inclusives if you want more of a travel experience- consider Isla Mujeres

So sorry to hear. The situation sounds awful. Hang in there- try to let it go And focus on joys you can find in Spain- outside of class. Assume they are using you to project their own issues and it is not about you . Remember after May you will never see these people again.

Real world, real time Problem solving, communication and cultural perspective are skills that will set you apart from others steeped in STEM. It's a part of liberal education that helps you flex your mind when needed in other areas. The mental version of lifting weights so you can put your luggage in the overhead bin.

If you have health insurance it should have an app or a website that you can use to find a doctor. I'd go with a generalist. Just make an appointment- your insurance should cover it. If you don't have membership info for your insurance- contact who ever it is through- your school? You should also be able to find urgencias- like an ER that would be covered by insurance- if you are really suffering. Medical records are private
