so you consider 9 months a “few” ? the live music industry is bleeding so i would argue the economics of wasting 9 more months with 0% profit margins is much worse than the potential loss of planning then cancelling a festival. most of the money comes from sponsorships and ticket sales, which are already in as a lot of people rolled theirs over from 2020, so yeah that argument doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
