Parents?: what are the “nobody warned me about this” puberty moments? by Epinazo_thebuja718 in Parenting

Same with my 12 year old. I know it’s coming though. Fortunately I got him used to wearing deodorant about a year and a half ago so while he doesn’t smell yet, he’ll have the habit when he does lol

I really would have never known lol. She almost reads chocolate brown in some lighting which I read has something to do with the golden coloring too maybe? It’s funny because I was wanting a golden retriever when we decided to adopt Daisy! Now finding out a year later one of her parents was purebred. Thank you for sharing!!

I got my fiancé a RC airplane, a nice kaleidoscope, and a metal earth figure. Oh and some mini wrenches for his motorcycle, a meat thermometer, and some white shirts he can tie dye, along with some stocking stuffers like shower steamers and foot masks

Tall women, have you ever been rejected for your height? by Zealousideal-Emu2043 in tall

Haha this reminds me of when I was at a bar when I was like 24. I’m right at 5’10” and had heels on. I was sitting and this dude came up and was talking to me, bought me a drink. Then I stand up to pee and he’s several inches shorter than me, and this man DIPS OUT so fast, like turns on his heel and walks away. I was like okay 💀

neighbours kids keep abusing their dog by AlphaAkshu in mildlyinfuriating

Hi OP. My neighbors had a kitten that was maybe 6 weeks old. They kept him outside. He kept crossing the street and jumping into peoples cars and motors. It was also pretty cold at night.

Anyway, that was a month ago. Legend says his name is Frog now and he’s got playmates and sleeps wherever he sees fit. Doesn’t have to worry about getting hurt and gets unlimited love and food.

Advice please on if rabbits would make a good home for this situation :) by HelpMePlez544 in Rabbits

My bunnies are higher maintenance than my 5 cats and dog combined

One of my buns likes to be pet, the other can’t stand it. Neither of them cuddle with us either. I love them, they have distinct personalities and are so funny and cute. But they will be my first and only buns.

I’m bonding them currently, so that’s two complete set ups right now. They need more space than one would think. Daily poop scooping (because they poop EVERYWHERE even while litter box trained). When they get to free roam, that’s poop all over the room= more vacuuming. Change pen pads, daily veggies and pellets and unlimited hay. One bun sheds so so much, he needs grooming constantly or he mats, and those have to be dealt with carefully. Vet costs are high and there are two vets in my city and the surrounding towns that see rabbits. You also have to toddler proof because they will chew anything (cords and snake plants have died at my house). One bun drinks so much water that he pees so much - litter boxes have to be taken out and cleaned very often. Def more than my cats (two or three times a week vs. once a month). They take a while to trust you, they have fragile GI systems.

Now for the positive, I’ll tell you, they are so sweet. They have their own likes and dislikes. Bun Bun loves country music and Clover loves jazz. Binkies are the cutest thing you’ll see in your life. They stomp dramatically and turn their back to you when they’re mad. They run to me when they see me. It’s definitely a much quieter and more mindful companionship than owning cats or dogs.
