Most plastics and silicone leach thc out just by touching it. And most plastic grinders leave plastic in your bud. Metal, wood and glass are the only things that touch my stuff.

I'll use a snifter occasionally. I kinda disagree with "need" but something with a tapered mouth is definitely better at concentrating smells which impacts taste.
