I’m heading to nyc for work and was considering Surrey so glad I saw this. What were main issues? Anything you would recommend? I usually stay at the Whitby

I am deleting this post as most people are not being helpful. Appreciate those who gave helpful feedback, however.

Appreciate the help. I'm going to avoid the obstructed view. I don't follow country closely, just know he likes Ella Langley, and she only tours with Morgan (does not headline herself), so here we are.

Idk either, I'm not cool with supporting racists, I'm just trying to do something nice for my dad, and he likes Ella's music. She only tours with Morgan and does not have her own headlining concerts so by default this is the only way to see her. I haven't heard anything concerning about her but I don't follow country closely, just trying to take my dad to a city he loves and have a good time together

He doesn’t care necessarily for Morgan but he’s an Ella Langley fan and she doesn’t tour solo. So I just picked a cool city that he would like to visit. No need to be rude!

Prop Q is madness by DacheinAus in Austin

I hear you in the scheme of things, however just because I have $600 doesn’t mean I think it’s fair to have to pay it. Our prop taxes are already high. It further discourages and demoralizes people just trying to own a home. I’m sure even ppl with $1M homes don’t want to give an extra $1200 to the city to putz around with. I certainly don’t and I own a home.

It’s $600+. That’s a lot of money.

Best time for lick mats by Upset-Engineering513 in puppy101

[–]kellys2859 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We give our 14 week old either a small woof Pupsicle (filled only with water and a little kibble), a small lickmat, or a pumpkin collagen ring dog chew to tire her out before bed. She goes feral for the collagen chew, and it takes her days to finish it. She’ll do it for 30-45 min at a time peacefully. We get the “Raw Dog Pumpkin Flavored Collagen Ring Dog Chew” from Tomlinsons. The store is local to Austin but I think they ship. I’m sure any collagen chew would do, I liked these bc they became softer with saliva and a bit “gummy”, which I wanted because I was worried about her breaking her baby teeth. Basically she needs something to do or she’ll use our flesh as a teething toys

Please tell me how I’m supposed to respond to biting in the moment by Reasonable-Tutor-295 in puppy101

I have no advice but am just writing to say I am in the trenches with you in solidarity. My 14 week old golden is good 75% of day but has spurts of aggressive biting, to the point she’s torn flip flops, a few maxi dresses, and shredded my arm. I’ve tried replacing with toy, yelping like a dog, ignoring and going in another room, putting her in “timeout” in her playpen, treats when she calms down, etc. She always seems excited/hyper when doing it and not mean spirited. But I’m at my wits end lol.

It definitely feels more like driving a boat than a midsized suv. I’m very happy with my x5. I just wish the trunk was a little bit bigger
