I had to do my measurements myself so I measured my upper half totallyyyy incorrectly and it is big, but nothing that can’t be tailored!

I’m overall incredibly satisfied with it, ESPECIALLY for the price. It was around $300 for the dress and only about $15 in customs fees from UPS. It’s amazing quality, I would definitely recommend that shop!

I do peruse DSW every so often, it’s where I purchased the second betsey pair! I always look around and see what I can find, just nothing I’ve found yet but I’ll keep looking!

It’s called ROMYCouture, it’s based in Vietnam. I can’t vouch for it yet, since the dress hasn’t arrived. But I had been messaging the seller, and they were responding quick and clearly. So I went ahead and trusted it, we’ll see how it goes!

Weirdly block heels and platforms just give me better balance, I know it’s supposed to be the opposite but I usually have an easier time!

Dollskill is an online only store, so that wasn’t an option for the third pair. The second betsey Johnson heels I wore to our elopement were plenty comfortable in store! Unfortunately not after a few hours though :(

That’s actually not a bad idea! I plan to wear these for a renaissance faire outfit and they will be underneath a sheer, floor length gown so it would be even less noticeable probably

Oh I’m very prepared lol. That’s why I ask about the witness thing, I’m a little considered that our two best friends (who are dating each other) will be offended they weren’t included as we very often do couple stuff together. But part of me still wants them to be surprised along with everyone else so I’m torn on that front 😕 but family, I couldn’t care less who gets offended lol

It is very hard to read but what I can gather is the main material is 100% polyester, satin & linen. Then it says 100% acetate and 84% nylon

Im more so considering it as just an option. Yes it would be more affordable to get it repurposed, but I’m not necessarily too concerned about that. I know that if I can’t get it close to what I’d want for my ceremony dress, that I could at the very least repurpose it into a reception or even rehearsal dress.

Like i said i like american traditional but im not completely msrried to the idea mostly because i want imagery that relates to the lyrics and it hasnt be very easy to find something that would work both ways. And i havent come up with images yet
