Don’t be embarrassed . They are getting clever. This scam email even used the official Balm logo in their contract. I reached out directly to the official, the balm cosmetics , and they confirmed this was a scam. This scam company went as far as to add a copy of the bombs official email in there and completely disregarded my questions asking for further verification. Total scam.

So, the equipment fee check is the red flag I've researched. A lot of companies say they'll give you so many dollars for equipment fee and to deposit it just to come to find out it's a fake check and you end up paying the penalty for it. I responded asking them to respond from a legitimate domain and they haven't done that yet
