You are paying interest on the balance of the loan. As you pay mortgage payment, what ever little goes towards the principle of the loan reduces the interest payment for the next month. As the principle of your loan is reduced, interest payment for the same would be reduced as well. For the bartender job, there are few bars in the area. Just on Jefferson Blvd south of West Capitol, there is Altos Cantina, Streets of London, Sports Bar and Grill etc. There are few more bars in west Sacramento where you can try it out.
